Summary: Abysmal

Comment: The software has good content for a VERY BASIC level of revision. THe material is there, but only just.

The way it operates is not good enough. It takes the form of what seems to be a bodged together online slide show and you have to view it in an internet browser. Not professional at all.

I am giving this one star because it has the information to form a basic revision plan. The diagrams are OK, but not as good as they could be and the mini tests are appauling at best. The questions just do not offer enough insight in what to expect in the exam. As for the example questions, welll, I dont recall having seen questions of that nature in any past papers I have done at school. Maybe they are sample questions, but the sample questions seem to come from 1990's.

There are some extras such as a revision planner, but that is rather superficial.

All in all: good content, but there is so much wrong with this that it really does not warrent purchasing this software.

Summary: Good and bad

Comment: This is not the best buy possible.
It is too expensive for what it is and while there is plenty of information to read and in some places, it is truely well done, however, the construction is just awful (it is based in an internet explorer and i found that it does not work unless using it while online. i may be wrong, but this is what i found)
Additionally, the way the contents is organised is not up to par; there is a good search tool, but i started a quick test on one topic and then i found myself answering questions completely unrelated.
While there are MANY sub topics that are explained in a comprehensive manor, it just feels like a quick way to cash in on the fact that exams are so prominant and if you ask me, that is just wrong.
There are some decent features such as the revision planning wizard and the sample questions, but even so, do not rely too much on this at all as it just does not deliver.

I am giving it two stars because among all of the irrelevant mumbe-jumbo and the appauling quality, (it is like a school thing rather than a commercial release), there are notes that i am sure with enough searching, will be helpful.

All in all then, there is potential, but this in no way should be used alone, but rather to aid other materials. I am not happy with this at all.

NB: I am studying for the AQA Physics B syllabus and so the actual relevance of the content may be of greater scale for other exam boards, but the presentation and the way it works will, obviousely, not change. (I'd also like to apologise for my abysmal spelling.)
