Summary: Mis-informed
Comment: After reading the other review and what the disk had to offer, i didn't hesitate in purchasing it. However, it did say that it was compatible to Windows XP, but when i got home and put it in the pc, it didn't work. i read the back of the cover, which to my amazement didn't have a mention of XP. Really disapointed at being mis-informed. Same thing happend with 2 other purchases.

Summary: Good, clean, honest fun!
Comment: I bought this game based on one of Amazon's recommendations, and I have to say that it was worth the wait! This is an educational title that teaches children maths but presented in a fun, easily accessible way.
Basically, the characters go round a village visiting different shops & stores. In each location they have to solve a mathematical problem : for example, in one area they have to build fences in order to learn about perimeters. In another, they use charts & graphs to plot the sales of the local wool shop over the last few years. After solving each puzzle they are given a clue to solving an overall mystery and through a process of elimination they then finally deduce who the thief is and what they stole! My only criticsim of the game is that these clues are sometimes vague or ambiguous and can sometimes lead to my kids making an incorrect guess (for example, the clue might be: "The location of where the stolen object is contains a chair". Now if there is a stool at the location do you regard that as a chair and keep it in, or do you do conclude that a 3 legged stool is not technically a chair and therefore eliminate it?) This minor gripe aside, this is a fun game and my kids love it! It is aimed at the age range 9 to 12, and my children are aged 8 & 10 and it provides an suitable challenge for both of them. A great purchase!!

Comment: A brillant computer game, working along the same theory as cleudo. The different kinds of math challanges make it suitable for a wide selection of children and the who stole what part at the end certainly keeps the adults hooked. I can honestly say I have played this game more than my children.
