If you are interested in the Holocaust and/ or teaching the Holocaust then you really should get this book. I have read it and used it for serveral years teaching now and found it very interesting and useful. it is packed solid with sources, maps and pictures.

Summary: you only should know
Comment: this book is informative and clear, and it educates. for years, the true magnitude of horrors were not even spoken about in jewish homes, as parents sought their own way of protecting the children from the past, and teaching them instead that "life is beautiful". Many jews dont know what this book contains, brought up in homes where the Holocaust was something that "you only shouldn't know". But Carrie has written a book for all of us who know that we should know. I am immensely proud of Carrie for having written this book. It is an achievement, and it is a positive force in the world. If you have come as far as to know this book exists, buy it for yourself, or for any child that you know.
