Comment: First Favourite Tales - Fab series for 2 year olds
I bought this entire series to give as birthday and christmas presents, to my 2 year old daughter and to other children. They have been a massive hit. The illustrations are lovely and, like the Snuggle Up series, the way they are written with rhyme and repetition as a central theme make them irresistible to toddlers. My daughter loves these books and wants to read them again and again, and they encourage her to join in too. I really wanted to introduce her to some of the classic fairy stories and this is a great, updated, way of doing so. Highly recommended.

Comment: Got this book along with others in the series for my 2 yr.old son.He loves it.Every night he'll tell me to read out this book and will say "peck ,peck, peck and a cluck,cluck,cluck" ,right on que.His other favourite is 'The Gingerbread man'.In fact all the books in the first favourites are wonderful.What really holds the children's attention ,is the fact that they rhyme.These are just the books to introduce to a young budding reader.With few words per page and lots of illustrations,they really seem to fascinate every child who picks them up.
Till I got this book ,my son would not sit through a book,and now he doesn't get up till I've read him at least a few of them!
