Summary: An excellent book that helped get me an A*!
Comment: I bought this book to assist me in one of the lessons that I was not so good at - history at GCSE.
At first I expected this book to not be up to much, but I was wrong. As with any other of Mr. Walsh's books, its simplicity of layout and great in-depth content really make it a book worth buying whether you are like I was: taking history at GCSE level or are just keen on modern history.
I found one of the books weaknesses was where it did not focus directly on the needs of any actual GCSE course, just involving assistance on the topic of modern history wih many nicely sumarised facts.
I thouroughly enjoyed this book, it helped me no end throught my GCSE course and I would instantly recomend this to any other student like myself who needs a little help with their GCSE examination revision.
