Summary: Easy to use, clear explanations - one of the best
Comment: This is exactly what it says - a dictionary for Adult Learners. Its clear print and indexing on page edges make it much easier to use than many dictionaries, and it has the Chambers name - a seal of quality. I first came across it when one of my students who has dyslexia showed me a copy. It wasn't too long before I bought my own copy for other students to use. Highly recommended.
Postscript.. Another dyslexic student of mine did comment that they found the very bright white paper offputting- Chambers produce their dyslexia - friendly Adult Numeracy Guide on much duller paper, and this might be something that they could consider for this otherwise excellent dictionary. Still five stars though!
