Comment: We are using this book on my AMSPAR Medical Terminology (level 3) course and it really is an easy to follow book. Things are organised into a sensible order for easy learning and the book is well laid out and very informative. My only 'complaint' is that there is not really sufficient space to write answers to the Word exercises - you have to learn to write a bit smaller!!! Would thoroughly recommend this book! The book tied into the class work we were doing in medical terminology. An excellent book to help you come to grips with all the suffixes and prefixes and just plain medical terminology. The exercises are great, they allow you to get used to how the prefix-suffix-combining forms come together to make the word. Plus you have the self assessment exercises to check on your progress. I used it a lot in the run up to my AMSPAR Medical Reception exams, and will continue to use for my AMSPAR Medical Secretary course. It is also very well illustrated and split into units for each body system.
