Comment: This book is average piece of material, as an AS student doing psychology i have found this book confusing and hard to understand in some areas but good in other areas. It mirrors the AQA specification well and has good uses of colour. Not a bad book but slightly confusing and hard to grasp in some areas!!!

Comment: I've just started As psychology and I'm finding this book very helpful. it explains very well concepts of psychology and i would recommend it to anyone new to the subject

Comment: This book is written by three great authors and psychologists in their field. In fact, the three authors are considered authorities in their area. The book follows the AQA syllabus and, unlike the previous version, has colour (which sometimes can be distracting) and better summaries at the end of each of the chapters.

Comment: I am currently using this book for my AS level Psychology course. It is a very detailed book to the point where you don't know what is relevant and what is 'waffle'. It has managed to confuse my entire psychology class as well. This book is better than some I have seen, but definately not the best (and you would expect better from Cardwell).
