Summary: Gateway-the Yugo of computers
Comment: We bought a Gateway desktop and Windows got hosed for some reason. We called 1-800-GATEWAY for support. Guess what? If you buy a Gateway anywhere but their website you must call a separate toll number. WTF!? Then we needed to restore it but the restore partition was bad. Had to get the recovery disk. They charged me $20 for a $1 CD-R. Then it wouldn't work, and they wanted to charge me to tell me how to use it. Again WTF? These people are horrible. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get a Mac. Get HP. Get an abacus. Anything but Gateway.

Summary: Pleasant Surprise! Gaming and Multi-task Machine!
Comment: So I was looking for a good computer for school, something that could handle HD video editing, 3D modeling, gaming, ect. I've never been a huge fan of Gateway so when I stumbled across this I thought it looked cheap and for the specs, under priced. Which caused me to hesitate at first, and also because it didn't seem very popular and I couldn't find many reviews. That being said I went ahead with my low budget in mind and bought the computer. I can honestly say I've never been more impressed! It can handle all my HD editing no problem at all, any program starts instantly(maybe slightly exaggerated but close ;), and for you gamers out there, it runs Crysis and Call of Duty 4 on MAXED settings without skipping a beat!!! I'm also a sucker for Samsung monitors and HD TVs, so given the fact this computer doesn't come with a monitor gave me a great excuse to buy a samsung, and I have given the link below to the specific one I purchased. If you are looking for a monitor, I would definately recommend the samsung, it has amazing picture quality. By amazing, I mean pristine! And it comes with all the connections to plug right into the computer!
I would not recommend anything else!
