Summary: Great family desktop!
Comment: My whole family loves the Vaio -- it's fast, the graphics are excellent, it's clutter free! The setup was easy...would have given it 5 stars except that whoever set up the Windows defaults chose the primary language as Galician instead of US English -- which caused some frustrating keyboard issues and wasted time to solve the issue.

Summary: Nice Desktop PC
Comment: I have one wish for sellers of this product- provide some documentation on setup, especially internet setup. Zero documentation in the box...if you need help on setup, pay to have someone install because the vendor provides nothing otherwise.
ONCE I got it setup, the PC is an uncluttered dream. Quiet, fast and smooth running. We purchased this for a small biz and it runs Quickbooks, MS Office 07 and other apps much quicker than our last PC.
The speakers do not have the issues stated by another reviewer and the sound is great.
Overall, great value and quality.

Summary: disappointed
Comment: The outlook design of the computer is for sure stylish and intriguing. The screen looks wonderful and the keyboard is very slim but easy to use. The mouse is relatively smaller for a big hand but OK for sensitivity of use. Overall, it is designed as a competitor to iMac and HP's all-in-one desktop. The portion of the computer body is designed much stabler on a desk top (standing on the top based on a tri-angel platform) than iMac and looks more compact and energetic than the HP's all-in-one. The key board is almost a copy of iMac's but feels better than that of iMac. The mouse's right button is a bit of crappy though.
The performance of the computer I had indicates some problems of the monther-board as well as the sound card---Sony VAIO VGC-JS110J/S 20.1-Inch All-in-one PC (2.2 GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium) Silver. It had a problem of presenting sound from videos such as DVDs and videos from e.g. YouTube and Hulu. During the first 15-30min, following the computer was turned on, the sound was absolutely all right. But a static electricity like sound (beeping) started to interfere usually the left channel of the speaker as well as any earphones when the computer kept running longer than 30min-40min. Occasionally, the right channel of the speaker or earphones suffered a beeping-cracking-like stuff as well. Only one program e.g. IE or firefox, was running when the problem appeared in front so that it was unlikely that some programs caused this problem. At the same time, other computers (3) in my home performed very well on playing video or music. Therefore, the static electricity like sound was not from the environment. Sometimes, the start-up process of the computer took more than 10min and suffered difficulties of logging on or logging off, and taking longer than 5-10min to open a program e.g. Office 2007 components while the hard drive was constantly running crazy. All showed that the quality of the device I had was very bad upon manufacturing.

Summary: Super fast, sleek, all in one, awesome computer
Comment: My husband and I bought this desktop computer and absolutely love it. The screen is large and the entire PC is incorporated right into the monitor. The one thing we really love about this computer is the fact the webcam is mounted right into the monitor. It makes it perfect for communicating with anyone via the internet. The computer is extremely fast and very user friendly. Sony makes a great product. The one downfall to this product is its price. It seems a little over priced compared to the other systems made by different companies. However, overall I would choose this sony product over any other on the market.

Summary: Great unit. No XP Drivers )-:
Comment: I just got this unit yesterday, out the box, it worked like a charm, no glitches, and as one reviewer said there is a load of crap trialware on it, but simply delete them and voila.
My BIG problem with this unit is that I wanted to downgrade to XP because I seriously dislike Vista, but Sony does not offer any XP drivers at all at this moment, and that really sucks. I will be emailing Sony today about this system and complaining about that fact - I want XP drivers!
