Comment: I purchased this for my 6 yr old. She uses this dictionary in school.
I had a Sesame Street dictionary with more pictures but it was ripped apart by my 18 month old. This dictionary has more words then pictures.
Lot's of words to look up and worth it! Price was great too! :)

Comment: We got this for my daughter who is 7 and loves to read. She understands the simple language which is used throughout the dictionary. The sentences given as examples on how to construct ones of her own are also very helpful.
